In line with our commitment to recognizing extraordinary Oklahomans and promoting education, the Oklahoma Hall of Fame presents three unique scholarship programs: the Oklahoma Scholarship Competition, the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Scholarship, and the Lee Allan Smith Oklahoma Legacy Award. These scholarships, which distribute over $770,000 annually, are designed to acknowledge and reward exceptional civic leadership and academic prowess.
Student Scholarships from AmericanMuscle
Twice a year, a $2,500 scholarship will be granted to students majoring in automotive-related fields. One scholarship will be given out each spring semester, with another one following in the fall semester.
Our Initiative:
We provide an opportunity for 2 students currently enrolled or high school seniors aiming for post-secondary education to receive $2,500 in tuition aid for their upcoming semester! This scholarship is a continuous program and is available for both spring and fall semesters annually.
Students with extraordinary drive and ambition are encouraged to submit a 700-1500 word essay here, introducing themselves and outlining how they intend to use their automotive education to inspire positive transformation and innovation in the custom car industry. All submissions must be in PDF or Microsoft Word format to be considered and must be accompanied by proof of current enrollment in an accredited U.S. college or university.
Essays should be submitted by 12:00PM EST on October 15th for spring semester applicants and by June 15th for fall applicants. The scholarship funds for the winners will be sent directly to the school as a tuition payment.
Winners will be announced by November 15th for spring applicants and by July 15th for fall applicants.
Eligibility Criteria:
This scholarship program is open only to full-time students currently enrolled in an American college, Canadian colleges, Automotive Engineering programs, Trade schools, technical institutes, or high school seniors intending to attend a college or post-secondary institution.
While the AmericanMuscle Student Scholarships are not renewable, winners can reapply in future contests by composing and submitting a new essay. Each student is allowed to submit only one essay per semester.
The scholarships are exclusively for students pursuing a degree in automotive or a related field of study.
