Online applications become available on April 1, 2026. The Eastern Regional Chapter serves applicants from these jurisdictions: Delaware, the District of Columbia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Eligibility requirements
1. Heritage
- Applicants must have Korean ancestry — for example, a parent, grandparent, or great-grandparent who is Korean — or be adopted from Korea.
2. Enrollment
- Must be enrolled full time at an accredited school located in one of the Eastern region states listed above for the entire 2026–2027 academic year.
3. Academic standing
- A cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 is required.
4. Financial need
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need.
