Colgate is committed to illuminating the path to higher education for students, understanding its potential to brighten their future. In collaboration with the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, we proudly support the "Haz La U" (Make the U) initiative, a scholarship program designed for high school seniors of Hispanic descent, as part of the Foundation's Youth Awards.
Are you a student who has consistently pursued academic excellence, shown dedication to community service, and exhibited leadership skills? If so, your hard work could be recognized and rewarded. Colgate offers 31 educational grants, contributing a total of $100,000 in support.
Eligibility for the Hispanic Heritage Foundation Youth Awards
- Applicants must be high school students set to graduate in the spring of 2026
- A minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or 7.5 on a 10.0 scale is required
- Enrollment at an accredited institution of higher education for the 2026-2027 academic year is mandatory
- Selected recipients must attend the virtual regional awards ceremony
- The application period commences in early September 2025 and concludes on December 31, 2025
