Eligibility and Selection Criteria
- Must be a resident of either the United States or Canada
- Must hold a scuba diving certification
- Must be currently pursuing a Masters degree in any of the following diving-related disciplines:
- Aquatic Biology, Ecology, or other Marine Science related fields
- Marine Conservation and Education
- Diving Medicine and Hyperbaric studies
- Ocean Engineering
- Underwater Archeology
- Must fill out the application form in its entirety
- Must provide a Resume or Curriculum Vitae
- Must submit a 500-word essay detailing how the scholarship funds would be utilized
- Must include two letters of recommendation
- Must provide photocopies of all diving certification cards
- All application materials must be sent via mail
- All applications must be fully completed. To apply, select SCHOLARSHIP from the menu for an application form or apply online.
- All applications must be received by August 31st of the application year.
- The scholarship recipient will be chosen by September 30th each year and will be notified within a few days of the selection.
