The Greater Lynchburg Community Foundation is proud to assist deserving students in our area in obtaining financial assistance to further their education.

We offer dozens of donor-funded scholarships that grant income annually for this purpose.

Amherst County Retired Teachers Association Scholarship Fund

Provides scholarships for Amherst County High School seniors who are in need of financial assistance to continue their education.

Appomattox County Education Foundation Fund

Provides scholarships to Appomattox County High School seniors who are in need of financial assistance to continue their education.

Alpha Action Scholarship Fund

Provides scholarships to area high school students to continue their education.

Altavista EMS Scholarship Fund

Provides scholarships to students from Altavista High School, Gretna High School,and Faith Christian Academy who are interested in the field of medicine or pursuing training in a trade

Barnard Family Health and Wellness Fund

Provides scholarships for area students seeking higher education in healthcare-related fields that support musculoskeletal health.

Bedford County Scholarship Fund

Provides scholarships for seniors graduating from Bedford County high schools

Beth Johnson Boatner Scholarship Fund

Provides scholarships for  E. C. Glass High School seniors

Jane Barringer Bowen Educational Fund

Provides scholarships for E.C. Glass High School seniors who pursue studies in Theatre Arts or English

Kevin Boeren Memorial Scholarship Fund

Provides scholarships for students graduating from Lord Botetourt High School or Heritage High School.

Dorothy M. Brooks Scholarship Fund

Provides scholarships to students at Randolph College who are Lynchburg residents

Daniel Christian Nursing Scholarship Fund
