Don't Text and Drive Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Digital Responsibility
Are you aware of the distance you could cover on a highway if you divert your attention from the road for a mere five seconds, which is the typical duration it takes to send a text message? The answer is the length of a full football field. Research from the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute reveals that drivers who text while driving are 23 times more likely to be involved in a critical safety incident. This scholarship aims to raise awareness about the dangers associated with texting and driving. For further insights on the risks of texting while driving, kindly refer to the attached articles.
