Students in higher education, seize this chance to vie for educational scholarships worth $3,000.
The NAAA Support Committee is providing $2,000, with Covington Aircraft Engines generously donating an additional $1,000.
The essay topic for 2025 is: "Elucidate ADS-B and Its Applications. Discuss the Challenges and Advantages ADS-B Offers to Aerial Applicators in Your Region."
Who Can Apply?
Every applicant for the scholarship must be endorsed by a current NAAA member. The sponsor's membership should be active by June 15 of the current year. For further information, please check the NAAA Membership tab.
- The scholarship is accessible to anyone seeking education beyond high school, irrespective of their age.
- Applicants should either be high school seniors or enrolled in higher education by the fall semester of 2025.
- Previous recipients of this scholarship are not eligible to apply again.
- Only those sponsored by an NAAA member can apply for this scholarship.
How to Submit?
This year’s submission topic is "Elucidate ADS-B and Its Applications. Discuss the Challenges and Advantages ADS-B Offers to Aerial Applicators in Your Region.”
Submission Formats
- An essay of at least 750 words
- A multimedia presentation (video or PowerPoint) of at least 5 minutes
Submissions that deviate from the topic or modify it will not be accepted. Personal viewpoints are welcome. Entries will be evaluated based on content, theme development, clarity, originality, and correct grammar. At least one external accredited source must be referenced in a bibliography or works cited page. Plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification.
Each entry should include the participant’s name, address, email address, phone number, sponsor’s name and/or company name, relationship with the sponsor, address, and phone number. A photograph of the participant and a brief biography should also be included. If you need a sponsor, you can find an aerial applicator in your state online.
