Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society
Recognizing the escalating global demand for wound, ostomy, and continence (WOC) nurses and the potential for the continued expansion and prosperity of WOC nursing, the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses Society™ (WOCN®) has initiated a program to grant educational scholarships. These partial scholarships are funded through donations from individual members, manufacturers of wound, ostomy, and continence products, private and public benefactors, endowments, and the regions and affiliates that make up the WOCN Society.
The WOCN Society Scholarship Committee, a permanent committee of the WOCN Society, oversees the scholarship program. The WOCN Society Foundation, which is responsible for raising, managing, and distributing funds, administers the program and is accountable for the allocation of awards.
The scholarships are granted to deserving candidates who are dedicated to specializing in wound, ostomy, or continence nursing. Applicants pledge to uphold the mission of the WOCN Society and the scope of practice for WOC nursing.
