AWWA Academic Achievement Award
Scholarship Sponsored by American Water Works Association
The Academic Achievement Award is designed to promote scholarly excellence by acknowledging significant contributions to the public water supply sector. All master's theses and doctoral dissertations pertinent to the water supply industry are welcome to participate. The submitted manuscript should represent the individual work of a single author and must be submitted within the competition year it was presented for the degree.
Submission Guidelines
Kindly upload a .pdf version of your thesis or dissertation using the form provided below. Along with this, please include a letter of endorsement from the instructor or primary professor who supervised your research.
In addition, please provide a one-page abstract that highlights the relevance of your thesis or dissertation to the water supply industry.
Prizes
- The first-place winner for the Doctoral Dissertation category will receive a one-time award of $3,000; the second-place winner will receive a one-time award of $1,500
- The first-place winner for the Master's Thesis category will also receive a one-time award of $3,000; the second-place winner will receive a one-time award of $1,500
