The ASIS Providence Scholarship Fund is dedicated to fostering the growth of future professionals in the security sector:

To be considered for this esteemed scholarship, potential candidates must meet the following qualifying criteria:

  • Applicants should be either full-time students or part-time students who are currently employed in the security/law enforcement sector.
  • The applicant's field of study should be Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field (such as first responders).
  • The applicant must have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.0 (based on a 4.0 scale).

Submission Guidelines:

  • Fill out and submit the applicant information form.
  • Provide an official transcript, stamped and sealed by the College/University, for all institutions attended.
  • Include a letter of recommendation from a faculty member or a professional in the Security/Law Enforcement/Public Safety field.
  • Compose and submit an essay of at least 500 words on a security-related topic of the applicant's choosing.
  • Send the completed application package to the ASIS International RI Chapter by October 5th.
