Path to Law Scholarship

Tomasik Kotin Kasserman, LLC, is committed to supporting ambitious students who aspire to a career in law but are hindered by the financial burdens of higher education. We understand that financial constraints can deter even the most talented and bright students, and we aim to make a legal career more accessible to such individuals. To this end, we are proud to announce the Path to Law Scholarship for undergraduates who are keen on pursuing a career in law.
The recipient of the scholarship will be awarded $2,000. This amount can be used to cover tuition fees, academic materials, or other educational expenses. We plan to offer this scholarship once every semester.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants for the Path to Law Scholarship must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
- Be an undergraduate student intending to pursue a career in law.
- Have a household annual income that does not exceed $100,000.
- Maintain a GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Be enrolled in a college or university within the United States.
- Be at least 17 years of age.
- Hold United States citizenship.
Application Requirements
As part of your application, please provide a written response to the following question in 500 to 750 words. Your response should include citations from two credible sources.
- In the context of the rise in self-driving cars, who should bear the liability for injuries resulting from accidents involving these vehicles? Should the onus be on the manufacturers?
Furthermore, you must complete the online application form below, which requires proof of enrollment, evidence of meeting the GPA requirement, and a statement of financial need that confirms your eligibility for the maximum household income of $100,000.
Assessment of Submissions
Your submission will be evaluated based on the following parameters:
- The strength and clarity of your essay's argument.
- The research and organization of your essay.
- The originality and uniqueness of the ideas presented in your essay.
We aim to announce the winner within four weeks of the application deadline.
