Homeland Heroes Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Law Offices of Murphy & Price LLP
The Law Offices of Murphy & Price LLP wishes to recognize the dedication and sacrifice of military families through the Homeland Heroes Scholarship. This award honors children of service members and is intended to help with college costs. One recipient will receive $1,000 to apply toward their Spring 2026 semester tuition or related expenses.
Eligibility
Applicants must satisfy every item below:
- Be the child of an active-duty or retired member of the U.S. armed forces.
- Hold a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Be enrolled in, or have plans to enroll in, an undergraduate or graduate program in the United States for the Spring 2026 semester.
- Be at least 17 years of age.
- Be a citizen of the United States.
Application requirement
All candidates must submit a single essay of approximately 1,000 words that addresses the following prompts:
- What role should the military play in shaping our country’s future?
- How should our military interact with the wider world?
Submissions that meet the eligibility criteria and provide a thoughtful, well-written response will be considered for the $1,000 Homeland Heroes Scholarship.
