Arapahoe Pass Scholarship

Introduction
The Arapahoe Pass Scholarship supports Boulder County students pursuing higher education at public institutions across Colorado. It is intended for applicants who meet the age and family-education criteria and who plan to attend an accredited public college or university in the state.
Who is eligible
- Must be a graduate or a current graduating senior of a public high school located in Boulder County, Colorado.
- Applicant must be younger than 30 years old at the time the application is submitted.
- Neither parent may hold a college or university degree (applicant should be a first-generation college student).
Award amount and renewal
- Awards can be as much as $12,000 per academic year.
- The scholarship is renewable.
Permitted use of funds
- Scholarship proceeds must be applied at an accredited public institution in Colorado (including junior colleges, community colleges, colleges, or universities).
Application requirements
Applicants must submit:
- A high school or college transcript showing fall semester grades;
- A current resume;
- Financial information/documentation;
- A personal essay;
- Letters of recommendation.
